A few months ago, Kelly Osbourne rather gleefully declared that Christina Aguilera’s weight gain meant that “Christina is becoming the fat bitch she was born to be.” This came after years of alleged and not-so-alleged back-and-forth between Christina and Kelly, and I should point out – it does seem like Christina started it when she really started criticizing Kelly’s weight years ago. Back in August, when Kelly first called Christina a fat bitch, Christina was only slightly larger, mind you, because as we’ve seen over the last week and a half, Christina has really been boozing it up hard, and it’s written all over her face and body. When Kelly and the rest of the Fashion Police crew were discussing Christina’s weight gain and general disastrous appearance during the Michael Jackson tribute, Kelly once again took some shots at Christina.
Kelly Osbourne sure holds a grudge. On E!’s Fashion Police Friday, the 26-year-old slammed Christina Aguilera for her weight. “She called me fat for years,” Osbourne said. “I was never that fat.”
Osbourne was criticizing Aguilera’s performance look at last weekend’s Michael Jackson Tribute Concert. The 30-year-old paired a pantsless ensemble with fishnet tights, heavy makeup and supersized hair.
But Ozzy’s daughter wasn’t the only cohost to attack Aguilera’s figure. “Lady Marmalade got into the peanut butter again,” Joan Rivers sniped.
“I’m looking at this and thinking, ‘Well, she’s put on weight. This just isn’t flattering,'” George Kotsiopoulos said. “But this is just a crappy outfit, regardless. No matter what shape your body is in, it’s just bad.”
Kotsiopoulos pointed out Aguilera was “still probably a size 2/4,” but Osbourne was quick to disagree.
“Trust me,” she said. “I’m a 2/4. That is not a 2/4.”
This isn’t the first time Osbourne has criticized The Voice coach. Last month on E!’s Fashion Police she called Aguilera a “fat bitch.”
“She called me fat for so many f***ing years,” Osbourne vented, “so you know what? F**k you! You’re fat too.”
Ironically, Osbourne battled with her weight in the past, but after her 2009 stint on Dancing with the Stars she shed 48 pounds and kept it off. “I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict. I will never understand that,” she told Us in 2010. Osbourne checked into rehab for drug and alcohol addiction three times.

CB thinks Kelly is full of it for declaring “I was never that fat.” Because Kelly was as heavy as Christina at one point, although to give Kelly some credit, she wore her extra weight a lot better (I’ve included older photos of Kelly at the end of the post). I think Christina’s frame is more petite, so her weight gain is more noticeable. Also: Kelly is a size 2/4 currently? Just like Kim Kardashian and Kirstie Alley, I suppose.

Well I believe Kelly when she says she was tormented by Christina and it probably affected her all of this time. Kelly better watch herself. I heard an interview with Morgan Spurlock on the radio a few months ago. The host asked him if there were any long term health effects from “Supersize Me” and he said the only thing is that now he gains weight VERY quickly. He said it is no problem for him to gain 10lbs in a couple of days. Bottom line, once you have the fat cells they are always there. They shrink, but they never completely go away. Kelly needs to keep her big ugly mouth shut.

I am so confused with the lying about size. Is it lying or are really expensive clothes priced that differently? Kelly is thinner and healthy – great. A 2/4? I would think a 5/6 – which is not big. I have no idea who Kotsiopoulos is, but he either has no clue about women’s sizes or he is being very diplomatic about Xtina’s weight gain. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Kelly was as big if not bigger and judging by photos posted, the weight is starting to creep on again, no surprise since keeping weight off over the long-term is very, very hard hard for people who were once very overweight or obese.
The fact is that Christina is a little girl, and weight shows up easier on short women. So she really isn’t “fat” in normal terms, just by Hollywood standards. And her clothing and hair choices are unfortunate. I agree with others that compassion is called for rather than criticism. Wish I could be her stylist. She is talented, and I wish she dressed in a way that did not detract from that. Hope it changes.
As far as Kelly goes, I have many times seen her be so sweet and kind about other people, even when others on Fashion Police disagreed with her. I like to think that is her disposition. I think she’s a pretty girl, with an old fashioned beauty. Again, I have heard her being really kind about people. I think she must have been really hurt by Christina in the past, and it still rankles. I agree that it is better to take the high road: for her own image, and in principle. But I don’t judge her for her comments. There’s always two sides to a story.
As far as body types go, Kelly is a small girl, too. Harder for small girls sometimes to loose weight. But I like her. She is using what she has, she is a success to have overcome addiction, and the girl is working. She has two jobs at least.

For someone who’s whined for years about being bullied about her weight, Kelly should STFU.
Kelly started all of this years ago on the Osbournes. She said Christina said something about her weight and that she hated her singing on her Christmas album. No one knows if this is true or not. We only got Kelly’s version of events. Christina got her back, though, on some MTV show. That’s the last time Christina has mentioned Kelly in public.
Kelly reminds me of a high school chick, who thinks the popular girl is hating on her when the popular girl doesn’t know she exists.

It’s time I stopped silently bitching at my mirror about a minor convenience that has the gall to be one of the components that help me take hold of my tenuous health and start remembering about how difficult and punishing measures that others have to take on as one of habits necessary to do what we want to do: improve. Most celebrities are well aware of their ‘good side’, God help these ladies find theirs. There’s the well-known addage about a person’s emotional and psychological development ending at the moment when he or she becomes permanently famous, I wonder if the fickle and gladiatorial nature of maintaining fame whilst amongst panderers, enablers, hangers-on and people whose livelihoods revolve around creating, dissecting, castrating, re-modeling, re-animating and re-affirming your every aesthetic frivolities with all of the solemnity of a beloved orphaned chimneysweep moppet expiring in the arms of a heartbroken benefactor–like they’re all characters in Dickens novel for the love of Pete–shoots these celebities back to that time when they were most insecure and vulnerable to the crap that kind of doesn’t matter. I mean, don’t these exchanges between them stike as the kind of Wildean wit that can only be espoused by a bunch of grade two dropouts? It’s weird, it’s escapism, but it’s not. It just makes me think that ‘looks don’t matter’ is much like the phrase ‘money doesn’t buy happiness’. We really aren’t thinking it through when we say those things, they’re like these mechanical responses that are transmitted as a single unit of trained response, and I don’t think that even we believe it. If looks don’t matter why are they so disproportionately rewarded and denigrated for not being up to standard? If money doesn’t buy happiness, tell me what poverty buys. That said, while I think it can be acknowledged that before she started to get serious about her health and Monte Cristo revenge setpiece fantasies, the least philosophically objectionable thing about Miss Osbourne was her weight, but it is the easiest target and as your light burns brighter in fame so too does the burn singe that much more…but you don’t have to an ass about it. Team No One, Team Freaking Me.

Kelly still looks fat, not morbidly obese, but fat, and come at me if you want. She was much thinner when she first lost all the extra weight, her legs were still bigger but nowehere near she is now. She is obviously gaining it back. And I believed her back in the day when she said that Christina has an ugly personality, I believed her because most people seemed to be complaining about what a bitch she was. But at least she has natural talent–something that the Osbourne kids will never have, and she is nowhere near the obesity of Kelly in the Osbournes show. It would amaze me how much she and Jack could eat. Anyway and right now Kelly darling you look about the same weight that Christina is. Even if you do weigh less you look about the same. Now what does that tell you?

Congratulations Kelly, you’ve achieved a lot. You’ve gotten off drugs and you’ve come down to a respectable and healthy weight. Now it’s time to learn something called, “tact.” When you’ve mastered “tact” you’ll realize that taking the high road always feels better than being bitter.
Christina isn’t more “petite” than Kelly. They’re both about 5’2″ inches tall. At most, Christina is a half-inch to an inch shorter than Kelly, and they both seem to prone to storing excess calories around the hips and thighs.
The way I remember it, Kelly started their ‘beef’ by bitching about Christina on her reality show. When Chrisina cornered her one time (at a reward show or some such), Kelly was scared.
Calling each other fat is childish when you’re in your early twenties (as they were then), at this age it gets really pathetic.
Kelly was definitely fatter than Cristina. I can’t stand neither one of them.
Kelly was fatter and built like a short suomo wrestler when she’s heavy. At least, Xtina is curvey and she is one of the best singers around and her first movie actually got good acting reviews Twice saying this is tacky, Kelly. and only makes Xtina look good compared to your snarliness.

@podzol – weight-related PTSD *lightbulb* EXACTLY!! You don’t spend most of your life battling weight without having trauma afterwards. You might lose the weight but I think for every single woman who has lost a significant amount of weight there is still the larger self inside they are afraid will get out. I am a big fan of “What Not to Wear” and there have been countless episodes over the years of women who have lost a great deal of weight but don’t allow themselves to buy or wear nice clothes because when they look in the mirror they still see the “fat” girl.

Not a big fan of Kelly or Christina…but..Kelly just comes across as a spoiled bratty little rich bitch who thinks she is the centre of the universe. She has been having Twitter feuds with every man and their dog, and just comes across as childish and immature. I have trouble believing she is in her 20s and not 14. Yes Kelly was as big as Aguilera is now, and I think she is a mean girl. I am the Australasian equivalent of a US size 6/8, and there is no way bratty Kelly is slimmer than me. Used to like her, but now I feel the urge to slap her around.
If I had to pick which one of these girls to be friends with, I’d pick Kelly, but she was definitely fatter than Christina, even on Christina’s worst day. She definitely needs to stop with the fat jokes now, because now she’s just coming off as insecure.
YEAH and Kelly will NEVER be as thin as Christina used to be. Christina is 30 with a kid, extreme talent and amazing career, she can also lose the weight. If Kelly loses more weight she’ll still be left with her nasty head/face.

Really, there are people outside Hollywood that are overweight, and how would this news make them feel? They would be more overweight than Christina is here and yet we have to stigmatise it. Sure, it can be a health issue OR it can mean they have a healthy body, but are just bigger.

@Havana & Jayna Christina has always been a mediocre talent copying off the likes of Britney Spears and/or Lady Gaga. She has no distingishing talent. Christina has always been a 2nd class superstar who wouldn’t make it unless someone was there to wrap her up and manufacture her.
When Kelly made the fat joke the first time around I saw it as the bullied taking a shot at the bully because Christina publically made jokes at Kelly’s expense about her weight in the past. Kelly deserved one shot at her.
Now, Kelly is coming off as a bitter hag. I would bet she is a size 4/6. She seems like she could fit in a size 4 on a good day. I think Kelly’s continual ragging on Christina says more about Kelly’s self esteem and insecurities at this point. I’ve never been a huge fan of Kelly. I think she is overly sensitive and a spoiled brat. She needs to do something with herself instead of clinging to Mommy & Daddy’s coattails.
Kelly shouldn’t make fun of anyone because of their weight considering that she is the “fat type” who will always struggle with her weight. Sooner or later the fat will creep back on because that is just her body type and her rude comments will come back to bite her in the ass. Christina might have been rude to Kelly in the past, but Kelly should have learned that words do hurt and rise above this pettiness.

I think when you feel someone had been ugly to you it cuts deep and it doesn’t go away. Mental and verbal abuse to many feels far worst than someone hitting you.
Kelly has some deep anger toward Christina. It just shows the difference with women. These things last for a lifetime. Heck there children may even carry this on.
I saw the show that day and when Kelly said she was a 2/4 my mouth dropped. I don’t know where these women shop. I’m a 10/12.. and I get you are so slim comments. so I don’t know. But I will say whenever I see my local news people in person it is shocking to me at how tiny they actually are off the TV.. so maybe Kelly is really small.
Anyway these cat-fights are silly and they all need to grow up. But Christina is not talking so I guess it is all one sided at this point.

Kelly needs to STFU and shame on her for even saying what she has! She knows how much it hurts deep down when people make snarky comments about your weight. Christina is obviously going through some issues, and slamming her for her weight will only exacerbate the problems. I’m not a Christina fan, but I do think she has an amazing voice. Christina’s talent is equal to that of Barbra Steisand, Celine Dion, Bette Midler, or Aretha Franklin. She does not have to take the sleazy route to be viable in the music industry. I think if she would start acting (and dressing) a little classier, it would take her much further into the future.

Kelly has been quite a bit heavier than she is in those “before” photos — quite a bit heavier than Christina is now. She should close her mouth and keep it shut, especially since (unlike Christina) she can’t sing.

I think Kelly brings up a good point— which a lot of people didn’t comment on: People are focused on her “weight problem” when they should have been bitching about her drug problem. People on this post are doing the same thing, talking about someone’s weight, instead of her many other problems. Thanks to Kaiser for pointing out Christina *will* go to rehab at some point.
Kelly may hold a grudge, but she’s funny as hell and far more entertaining than Christina. XTina may be chubbier, but I wonder why people aren’t paying more attention to the fact that she’s a raging alcoholic and God only knows what else. She’s a total train wreck, even without the weight issues. So what if Kelly is still mad that Christina called her fat. Considering the source, I’d still be mad too if it had happened to me, and I’d bring it up a lot just to make myself feel better. Let’s not pretend the majority of you posting wouldn’t do the same.
